My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier mix
Age: 5 yrs.
Weight: 15 lbs.
Good with dogs: yes, with bigger dogs
Good with cats: unsure
Good with kids: no
Energy level: high
Good with men/strangers: yes
Hypoallergenic: no

Special home requirements or medical: experienced, quiet home as the only dog or with a well-behaved dog that won't react negatively

Additional info:

After spending 3 long months at the shelter, Cooper was red listed meaning he could be euthanized at any time. He is friendly and outgoing with adults and gets along well with dogs in play groups. He knows "sit" and shares toys. However, he should not be with young children who are not dog savvy. He has a beautiful tri-color coat and silly playful personality...soft floppy ears and warm eyes. He doesn't deserve to die, and we weren't going to let him. Welcome to the pack, Cooper!
