Hi there! My name is Zelda. I am a beautiful, bright, happy, playful kitten who was born July 28, 2019. I am a purr-fect constant companion. I like to be your shadow. I follow my foster mom around the house all day long. If she's doing the dishes, I help her do the dishes. If she's brushing my teeth, I help her brush her teeth. If she's taking a bath, I try to take a bath too. I have no fear of water and will sit outside the shower, waiting patiently. One of my favorite spots in the house is atop the floor heat registers and vents. I will happily soak up heat or stretch out in the beams of warm sunlight coming through the window. I get along well with other cats and I like to play with them, as long as they're not too rough. Rough play makes me cry, loudly. I love to play with toys and to climb to the highest spot on the cat tree. I am a cuddle queen and like to snuggle. I don't care if you're a human, a cat or a nice dog. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
