My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3.

Adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/193648405513157

***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA.

Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash.

Beautiful sweet Rora was born in a kill shelter in Korea along with her siblings but all of her siblings were adopted & Rora was left behind so the wonderful Korean rescue went & saved her before she lost her life as she was going to be euthanized as nobody wanted her.

She is with Hari & arrived with Hari & they love each other deeply. Rora finds comfort in Hari. Rora is shy at first & will need work on building trust with you but she lets you hold her & give her love. She needs a home who will be patient with her. We would love for Rora & Hari to get adopted together, if not it’s mandatory she go to a forever home with other dogs in the home.

Rora has not been around young children. It is always up to the new family to be responsible with introducing new pets and in all interactions with pets and children.
Rora is about 5 months old and weighs 29 lbs. Based on her appearance we believe she is a Shiba Inu/Jindo mix. She has been spayed, is current on all vaccines including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, and rabies. Rora is microchipped and has been wormed twice.

This sweet girl has been through trauma and many transitions in her short life and is depending on us to find her the best forever home possible. With that in mind we are looking for a home with another dog present and where someone is home majority of the day or has the ability to bring Rora to work with them. She needs a home that is able to be patient with the transition, willing to work with a trainer if necessary, and able to give her unconditional love
.
Please only submit an application if you are ready to adopt now and willing to go through our process. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet.

Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people who are not ready to commit. Please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately not able to respond to everyone. We appreciate your understanding.

Rora has an adoption fee of $795
