My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scout,

Scout is a well-mannered, 2 year old, Aussie/ Heeler mix that weighs around 45-50 pounds. Being a smart guy, he is house trained, crate trained and appears to be a fast learner, already knowing sit! He would love a home that continues to encourage him to learn fun, new skills! He is a bit nervous at first when moving to a new home with new people and is probably wondering what is going to happen to him. Once he settles in and feels secure, Scout is a fun boy with a strong desire to be with his people. He is currently living with other dogs and loves the playtime, but he knows when to settle and especially loves to curl up with his person. He would make a wonderful companion and would make a great camping, and hiking buddy. Surely enjoying anything he can do with his person. He has not met any cats yet.

Scout was found dumped in the desert.

All Lovejoy Foundation dogs and puppies can be seen at our weekend adoption events Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Keep in mind our adoption events take place in an outside venue, with wet weather, high winds, and chilly temperature we would not hold a normal event, so please call ahead before coming 310-719-5707. We are a Southern California based rescue, we do not adopt out more than a 40 minute radius. Please visit our website for more information about our Rescue lovejoyfoundation.org
