My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Clementine was adopted from a high kill shelter by a family that let her run loose without a fenced yard. Sadly, she was hit by a car and her left hind leg was badly broken is several places. The family did not have the money to help her at the vets so they surrendered her to be euthanized. The vet called us and asked if we would help as she had quickly stolen everyone's heart at the clinic. We of course said yes and they prodeeded with the amputation of her leg. Clementine doesn't let three legs slow her down one bit and she absolutely loves everyone! She is spayed, UTD on shots and HW negative. She weighs about 24 lbs now and is full grown. Clementine will need a fenced yard and a fairly active family. If you would like to give this brave and special little girl the forever home she deserves, please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send you our application.
* PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, OMLC does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. OMLC is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, please email omlc7@hotmail.com
