Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saxon is an adorable 1 year old, 48 pound boy. He has a cute personality and loves to play with toys. This sweet boy will sit on command and walks well on a leash. Saxon got lost from home and came to the shelter on Jan. 8th. He is up to date with vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested negative and micro-chipped. Saxon is in Run 876 and his ID# is 620827. Sweet Saxon thought he had found his forever home on 01/19 but once in the home he got into things he should not have and the family did not try to train him and returned him on 01/22.
Saxon recently attended an off-site adoption event and this is what a volunteer had to say - "Sweet Saxon was at our Petsmart adoptions yesterday. He is still an active puppy and LOVES toys and LOVES to play! He play bowed with the dog next to him all day at Petsmart, just wanting to play. He loved everyone he met and loved to chew stuff (including his paperwork! HA!) Like I said, he is still a puppy and needs some training, but he is super sweet and loving and likes treats, so would be easy to treat train. Please go check him out."
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter.1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sat. 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. & Sundays 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
