Meet Odie! This darling, sweet, easy-going brown/white piebald dachshund will melt your heart!
Odie, 11.5 years young senior is a dream. He weighs approximately 12 lbs. and is at his ideal weight for his breed. Odie loves many things but most importantly, he loves to have his human(s) home, a quiet lifestyle, a dog companion and snuggles. He is healthy, had a recent dental in 2018 and blood work. Odie's diet consists of a high quality kibble and supplements for overall health - joint supplement and Milk Thistle. He also enjoys fruits and veggies as a healthy, low fat snack.
Odie is potty trained, leash trained and crate trained (although in his previous life, he spent many hours alone in a crate and prefers to spend very little time in one now). This boy knows what a fridge is and has excellent house manners. Odie loves to go on adventurous and stimulating walks where there are many things to explore and sniff. He has been around older children (12+) who have grown up with dogs and are respectful.
Odie's best life is where he will be a priority and be part of a family. Our requirements for Odie are the following:
1. Home full time and/or work from home
2. Dog companionship
3. Breed specific knowledge
4. Secure fenced yard
5. Single family dwelling with minimal stairs
6. Financial stability
