Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Minnie has a sad story with a happy ending. Her and her 4 kittens were put in a box, out next to the trash in the middle of the hot summer. The kittens were just days old and Minnie was so scrawny and skinny, covered in fleas and flea bites. Lucky for her, a caring person saw them and put out a plea for help on Facebook. Through the power of teamwork, she and her kittens found their way to me. Despite being so undernourished herself, Minnie took excellent care of her kittens and protected them during the time before they were rescued. She continued being an amazing mama after rescue, nursing the sickest baby back to health after he was lost and then found. The kittens have all been adopted and now it's her turn to be taken care of. Despite having been let down by humans, she loves attention from people, but she's pretty chill so when you're not around, she'll just hang out. Minnie likes pets and scratches and headbutts and even the occasional belly rub. She'll sit by your side on the couch, lay at your feet in bed at night and protect you just like she did her kittens. Please give this amazing mama a chance to just be a pampered cat. She's lived in a house surrounded by cats for the past 7 months, but has yet to make friends with any of them. So if you already have a cat, she can peacefully coexist if they're chill. Maybe one day down the line, they might even become friends, as long as you don't try to force it. Otherwise, she would be good as you're one and only as long as you can spend a good bit of time with her. So if you're a bit of a homebody or work from home and need a sidekick, Minnie's your girl,.
