Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this handsome big boy named Nicky! (Nicky & Cody are now in foster care and doing great. Super sweet, happy, & love soaking up TLC from their foster family. A meet & greet can be arranged. Just contact the shelter.) He and his 2 siblings Cody and Munchkin came into the shelter December 20, 2019 when their owner passed away and there was no one there to take care of them. They came in extremely scared and hopefully with time they will adjust to shelter life. Cody is coming around better of the 3. After 8 years with the same person same home then not to have them around and in a place with other animals, new smells, noises, new people nothing familiar I can imagine it’s super stressful and sad for them. I honestly think in a calm home with a person of couple who has love and patience I think they will settle in and their sweetness will
Conquer their fears. Might you have experience with this kind of situation and maybe you’ll be the perfect person for this handsome boy and maybe his siblings too. Stop by for a visit (may take a few) and see if they may be good for you as well as them.
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that we cannot keep Petfinder as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, beds, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too... and maybe snuggle & love on us while you're here. It would make the cats time here more enjoyable to get love and attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets will honor the voucher 100%) ...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
