My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this handsome fella named Cody! (Cody and his brother are in foster care and are doing fantastic. Just needed out of the shelter. They lay around and love soaking up love & affection. A meet & greet can be arranged. Just contact the shelter.) He and his siblings found themselves in the shelter December 29, 2019 when their owner passed away and there was no one able to care for them. He is 8 years old, current on shots, use to being inside, and already neutered. They came in EXTREMELY SCARED and Cody is adjusting better a little every day. Though I truly feel he will thrive and his sweetness will shine once in a home where he feels secure and loved. It’s hard when you have known 1 person your entire life and use to them and their ways and then at a shelter with many other animals, new smells, noises, people, environment 100% different, & nothing familiar. If you have patience and time to let Cody settle in and adjust then Cody would be so thankful if you could adopt him into your heart and home. Stop by the shelter (May take a few visits) for a visit with Cody & maybe his siblings and give him a chance at a wonderful life!
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that we cannot keep Petfinder as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, beds, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too... and maybe snuggle & love on us while you're here. It would make the cats time here more enjoyable to get love and attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets will honor the voucher 100%) ...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
