🐾❤️ MEET PENNY 🐾❤️

Pretty Penny is looking for a place to call home. We welcomed Penny into the MSPR family last week. She had spent the first 4 years of her life as an outside dog and was given to a family who got her spayed and current on vaccines. 🙌🏼

Everything was perfect until one of the current dogs at the home started resource guarding their food and concern for Penny’s safety arose. One of our foster homes offered Penny a safe place to crash and that’s where she met her small friend Fig (the dog) and a few feline friends too! Penny loves other dogs, she’s friendly with kitties and children make her heart pitter patter. ❤️

We were asked to help find a forever home for Penny and we thought we found the perfect fit. We did the homecheck last week and everything went as planned. She loved the current dog, she was respectful of the cat, she crated well (when unsupervised) and she had kids!

What we quickly learned is that she is WAY more interested in livestock (goats, chickens, etc...) than she was at the initial meet & greet and for everyone’s safety and Penny’s good too, we need to find a home without livestock.

We have a very limited amount of time to find this beautiful, fully vetted, 5 years young girl a place to call home. She’s house trained, crate trained and rides well in the car. BONUS!
