My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JASMINE: 2 YR OLD FEMALE CHOCOLATE LAB

Jasmine is guaranteed to earn smiles wherever she goes!

This goofy, playful girl is loving life in her foster home, discovering how much fun toys are, and winning hearts wherever she goes!

She adores other dogs and is great with the resident cats in her foster home.
Jasmine is friendly and outgoing with all humans, but due to her size and exuberance, dog savvy, respectful children 10+ would be recommended.

Jasmine is still working on her training and counter surfing urges, and will need her forever family to be committed to continuing her positive based training to help her blossom into a good canine citizen.

Jasmine is very food motivated, which is awesome for training, but extra care will be needed to ensure she does not get into garbages or anything left within reach.

Jasmine came into our program through no fault of her own, as an unclaimed stray from a rural pound. She underwent heartworm treatment and is now happy to report that she is heartworm negative and given a clean bill of health!
Jasmine's spay surgery needed to be delayed due to her heartworm treatments, so any adoptions will be on a foster-to-adopt basis, until her spay may be completed by our rescue vet at our expense (approx May 2020)

Jasmine would do best in a home where someone is not away long periods of time.

Adoption fee $550 (adult female rate): Includes vaccinations, 4DX/ heart worm test, Brucella test, deworming, parasite prevention, exam, microchip and spay.

Visit our website hobohavenrescue.ca to download an adoption application, which can be submitted to hobohavenpetrescue@gmail.com

For anyone possibly interested in adopting from Hobo Haven, here are a few, but not all, criteria to be aware of:
An adoption application must be completed and approved, as well as a home visit, prior to meeting available dogs.
All dogs are placed in loving foster homes during their time with us, and out of respect for their privacy, we do not allow every interested applicant to visit for this reason, which would also be stressful for the dogs in our care.

Any questions may be emailed to hobohavenpetrescue@gmail.com

If you are seriously interested in applying to adopt one of our dogs, please submit the adoption questionairre available on our website as noted above.
