If you are interested in EMMA or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application

If you’re looking to bypass the exhausting energy a puppy can bring and adopt a beautiful girl with manners to match, look no further than EMMA! She’s a 4-year-old lady with her sights set on a warm spot next to you where she can curl up and nap. When she’s not napping, she most enjoys strolls around the neighborhood, going for a ride, and spending time with the dogs she lives with in her foster home ever so gently with her nose. EMMA is completely cat/dog friendly, as well as house-trained. Take her out to a patio to meet new friends and she’ll be sure to attract a swarm of people eager to pet her. She’s thrilled to be by your side, wherever life takes you. If you’d like to make EMMA a part of your family, fill out an application today!
EMMA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
