My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greeting Hoomans! My name is Richie! I am 2-and-a-half years old and I am a Goblin of the highest degree! I have tons of energy and I LOVE to play with toys, as well as other cats. However, my particular flavor of crazy can sometimes be a bit much for other, better behaved cats. But, no worries, I come with a Parvati. She's my most bestest friend, my shadow and my cuddle-buddy. We are inseparable and would love to stay together. I am very loving, cuddly and i enjoy being on the couch with my foster parents, especially during movie nights. But when I do play, I play hard. I will chew on you and wrestle with you if you try to pet me when I have a hyper moment - this is where having another goblin who gets me comes in handy. Shenanigans are kind of my jam. So I will be happiest in a home with lots of toys, enrichment and things to climb on. I am highly food motivated and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my puzzle toys! The more puzzles, enrichment and mental stimulation, the better. Because in addition to my Goblin energy levels, I am a smart boy. Keeping me busy is key. Boredom is no good. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV positive, microchipped, dewormed and ready to go! So if you're looking for an orange goblin to join your life, look no further! Just apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
