AT THE SHELTER: Have you ever considered adopting a senior? Madeline is a 13 year old red sable senior Dachshund who is available for adoption at the Silicon Valley Animal shelter in Santa Clara, CA. She looks like a standard sized, purebred dachshund in this lovely photo the shelter staff has provided. The staff says that Madeline is quite a lovely lady and has "pep in her step" for an older gal. You can refer to her ID#A1159272 when contacting the shelter for more information on this lovely lady. Please consider a senior shelter pet in need. Note: we have always had a soft spot for the Dachshund breed; It always breaks my heart to see any senior pet in a shelter, and this little lady caught my heart.
