Sweet Vaska is a seven year old Cream Point Ragdoll. Like Vanilla ice cream, Vaska doesn’t dazzle like some of the other flavors of kitty we have here. He keeps getting skipped over for rocky road and cotton candy sizzle BUT vanilla can be the best! So comforting and sweet.
Vaska is a very sweet boy who likes to cuddle. He is not a lap cat, but he is a cuddler. He is an easy going companion cat. He isn’t going to be in your face, but he wants to be with you. If you are looking for an easy cat, then Vaska might just be the kitty you’ve been looking for.
He does fine and would be fine in a home with or without other cats. He has also been around dogs. His eye does weep from time to time but nothing concerning. Just needs wiping out occasionally.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
