Hello friends my name is Duke! I found myself at animal control after living on the streets alone for a long time. I was terrified of people at first, but the friendly volunteer lady taught me people can be good. I have learned that I can trust people especially if they come bearing gifts in the form of treats, chin scratches, or walks. I would love to find a home that has room for me to run in open spaces because I have a whole lot of energy. I don't like small confined spaces it really scares me. I do like other dogs, but I am not a fan of cats. I like older kids because it's harder for me to accidentally knock them over. I don't mean to make little kids fall, but I am big and have loads of playful energy. If you would like to meet me and continue to teach me how wonderful people can really be please don't hesitate to contact my temporary keeper.
