Hello world! I am Tiggy, a gorgeous and affectionate 6-month-old kitten. I love to be loved, all the time, and I get along great with other kitties. You see, I was found as a stray kitten. Some kind people picked me up and took me to animal control. While I was there, I was fully vetted and prepared for my brand new home! Being in a shelter is really tough. We get lots of poking and prodding, there's constant noise and odd smells, strangers coming by, but not a whole lot of love and attention. So, it takes me a minute to warm up to new people, but the second you touch me, I melt. I absolutely love tummy rubs (no my tummy isn't a trap!), chin scritches and butt scratches. Oh who am I kidding, I love them all! I would love to have a kitty sibling to be friends with in my new home, but all I can really hope for is someone to love forever and ever! I use the litterbox 100% of the time. Maybe you can give me a chance? Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption event dates for 2020: February 15, March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21 and December 19.
NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
