Soprano is a stunning white Ragdoll/Turkish Angora mix With one Blue-eye and one green eye. Soprano is deaf and because of that he does have certain needs.
He does get along well with other cats when he is introduced appropriately. He gets along well with humans who respect his boundaries. This means that he will tell you when he is tired of being touched with a swat. It means that he does not like to be held or confined, but he does like attention on his own terms. He can actually be quite sweet when things are going his way.
We will only adopt him to a home without children under the age of 15. We will only adopt him to a cat experienced home. We prefer a home where are the adopters have dealt with deaf cats before. In other words, we are going to be very picky where this gorgeous cat goes.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
