My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey world I am Junior! When I first came into this rescue I had some pretty brutal wounds on one side of my body and I am still working on growing back a lot of my fur. A good amount had to be shaved off so the vets could keep my wounds clean. I am happy to report that I am now on the mend and ready to find my forever home! I am a young boy who has just started learning the good side of life, like dog beds, balls, chews, antlers, and other animal friends! I am also learning some new words like "sit", "off", "come", and "stay". All these words mean I move my body in different ways to get cookies, and cookies are AMAZING so I am learning all these things so I keep getting them. I would love it if my forever home wanted to teach my things for cookies as well! I currently have a furry foster sister who is showing me how to do all the dog things. I have made a bunch of dog friends and think a dog in my new home would be great to help show me the way! I also met a cat and they seem ok too!

About my perfect forever home:

I am looking for people who can give me a little extra adjustment time in a new home. I can get nervous being in a new environment with new people. I am working on my crate training but also get worried when I am left a lone for too long so another dog in the house would be great to help to me!
