My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Kira. The only family I ever knew left me at a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles. Fortunately some nice people kept checking in on me. When the shelter posted me for euthanasia, they rescued me. They took me to the vet, where I was cleaned up, spayed, and had some mammary tumors removed. Now I'm good as new!

My foster mom reports that I am a sweet, affectionate girl. I'm very friendly with her two small dogs. Now that my surgery is over I'm ready for a forever family! In addition to being dog-friendly, I LOVE kids! I have not been cat-tested, but I have a sweet, quiet energy and I'm on the small side so I might be okay.

I don't love the crate but I am okay when you're not home and I don't destroy things. I just want a family where I can participate and be loved. Can you adopt me and be that family?
