My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HASH is an 8-year-old neutered male black lab. Hash weighs 80 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Hash is a lovely, sweet dog who is always up for a walk, a conversation or hanging out to watch TV. His fosters adore him and call him The Hash-Meister - he is very good-looking and chill, and always up for a party! He is amiable and sociable, and does not need a lot of activity to be content. He gets two good walks (half a mile to a mile) a day, with additional potty breaks during the day and before bed. He sleeps through the night in his foster's bedroom and can be convinced to sleep in some days until 9 or 10:) Hash is doing well with his skin condition and there is some hair regrowth. His medicated baths are complete, but he still enjoy regular hygiene baths! He may never regrow hair everywhere. Good nutrition is having a positive impact and he has added muscle and weight and is moving smoothly. He wasn't steady on his feet in the beginning, but now he can stabilize to lift his leg a few times on our walks. He is very proud of that because he was embarrassed to pee like a girl all of the time! He goes up and down hardwood stairs all day long without difficulty, so he does have a pretty good exercise program built into the average day.
