Adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/193648405513157
***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA.
Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash.
Ginger is a survivor. He was purchased off of a truck headed for the slaughter house in China by our fearless Chinese rescue partners. Once they got him back to health they reached out to us to help find him a forever home.
Ginger is a sweetheart of a little guy & walks beautifully on his harness & leash & does well in the car in a dog seat but he has been through a tremendous ordeal. Ginger finds comfort & security in being with other dogs, so its mandatory he go to his forever home with other dogs in the home & he would do best with someone being home during the day. He feels secure with other dogs but also likes to be held & given love by his people once he trusts you. Ginger can be vocal when he is separated from other dogs so he must always have a friend with him. Crates are not for this little fellow at all, he likes to sleep in a dog bed or with you. Did we mention he enjoys a good outfit? He also will still need to put on weight
Ginger has not been around young children. It is always up to the new family to be responsible with introducing new pets and in all interactions with pets and children.
Ginger is about three years old and weighs about 9 lbs. Based on his appearance we believe he is a toy poodle. He has been neutered, is current on all vaccines including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, and rabies and has received a dental scale and polish. Ginger is microchipped, has been wormed twice.
This loving boy has been through trauma and many transitions in his short life and is depending on us to find him the best forever home possible. With that in mind we are looking for a home with another dog present. He needs a home that is able to be patient with the transition, willing to work with a trainer if necessary, and able to give him unconditional love.
Please only submit an application if you are ready to adopt now and willing to go through our process. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people who are not ready to commit. Please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately not able to respond to everyone. We appreciate your understanding.
Ginger has an adoption fee of $985
