Harper is a sweet, rambunctious, bundle of energy. He is still just a puppy, a little over a year old. He was turned in with his sister due to the previous owner’s loss of home. They were kept outside, so he is still learning house manners. He loves to play with his doggie friends, likes to chase the kitties (doesn’t hurt them), and likes his toys. Attention from his human friends is great, but he is not a huge snuggler and is not particularly fond of being picked up and carried around. He has way too much energy to sit still for long. He is leash trained, but still needs to learn to be calm on walks. Potty training is still in progress (he was outside all the time previous to being rescued), but he does pretty well except for an occasional incident. Frequent short walks with treat rewards would also help him learn to officially pass the potty training stage.

He is just an energetic, fun-loving pup who would benefit from lots of exercise (think running and hiking) and an active family that has another energetic pup or two. Harper is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.
