My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cocoa, 1 year old Lab/Boxer/Pit mix. He is local to the QC and was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to care for him.

This beautiful boy is so well mannered, we had to tell him it was okay to get on the couch! He sits nice when he comes inside to wipe his paws, and he's potty trained. He knows a few basic commands being sit and shake when you have a treat, we don't doubt he'd easily learn more.

Cocoa is cat and dog friendly, however if you have a very timid cat who will run and tease Cocoa will want to play with them. He loves playing with other dogs and being with his person! He takes treats nicely, but isn't a huge fan of the kennel. He will quiet down after some time, but he likes to let you know he doesn't want to be there.

He will require a hard sided crate. He has figured out how to get out of the wire ones, though he probably doesn't even need one he is so good.

Looking for a new best friend? He would make a great one!

Cocoa’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
