Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Macy!
Macy found herself stranded in a busy Baltimore shelter where she was given up by her former family .
As you can imagine, her chances of being adopted from a busy public shelter at her age was slim. A plea was sent out to rescues and her sugar face spoke to us. A shelter is no place for a girl like her. She had given 12 + years of unconditional love to her family and definitely did not deserve to be euthanized due to space & breed discrimination.
So, Macy has joined the PWD family and so far is doing well! She has some lumps and bumps, and can't hear too well these days, but what do you expect for a senior girl like her? She enjoys roaming around the yard for a bit then coming back in for a nap on her comfy dog bed. She is so quiet we almost forget about her!
Macy seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and even initiates play, very cute to see! We would love for Macy to find a retirement home where she is loved and cared for till the end because that is what she deserves. We will work hard to find this for her, but until then she is safe and loved here.
