Meet Fuji and Denali, our two mountain kittens! Fuji is the gorgeous striped tabby with a unique hint of orange throughout her fur and the orange spot on her head. Denali has cheetah spots all over her body. They are sisters not by blood but by heart and love each other very much!
These two young girls were born roughly in May 2019. They were rescued on Summit Avenue from a garage in Long Island. Denali is a shy sweet pea who will follow you around and look at you with her big, beautiful eyes. Fuji is more social than Denali and loves having her belly rubbed. They both wait on their foster mama to come home. They are very curious and love playing! Sadly, Denali doesn't do so well at events--she's scared of all of the noise, doggies, and action. She hides behind her sissy. At home, she is slowly gaining confidence and will need someone who has a little patience for her.
We need to find a foster home or a permanent home ASAP. They are losing their long-term foster home in January since their foster mama is traveling internationally for a few months. This will devastate the girls.
Please email us if you would like to foster or adopt these beauties at animalprojectnyc@gmail.com.
Note that they must be adopted together. The adoption fee is $125 each which includes their spaying, FVRCP shot, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, and defleaing.
