My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, our Adoption Team has decided to officially put all adoptions on pause. The health and safety of all involved is of utmost importance. Blind Dog Rescue Alliance prides ourselves in our very careful and thorough screening process of all applicants, and with all the current restrictions in our country, this is just not possible. We would not be able to conduct in-person home visits, a very important part of the process, nor would we be able to provide transport. As applications come in, they will be placed on hold until restrictions are lifted. Once restrictions have been lifted, we will reach out to the potential adopters to see if they are still interested before proceeding. If you have any questions please contact adoption@blinddogrescue.org. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Sylvia is being fostered in Ohio. BDRA will assist with transport within reasonable distance.

What Sylvia's foster mom has to say about Sylvia:
Sylvia is a sweet, unassuming dog. She is an older dog who loves to cuddle and sleep. She is very low maintenance and quiet. She is happiest when cuddling with a person, any person will do, and when she is burrowed under a blanket sleeping. She is mostly house trained, but as an older dog, she must go outside frequently. Overnight and when we are at work, she wears a diaper, and doesn't mind it at all. She also doesn't mind being dressed up in clothes that accentuate her cuteness. Sylvia does not navigate her surroundings well but at night she is entirely happy in a doggy playpen to keep her safe from stairs. She is a very sweet, loving dog, who is very humble and depends on her people to keep her safe and sound. That, some cuddles and belly rubs, and tasty food and treats are all she requires to be completely happy.
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
