Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whats up everyone! My name is Chubbs and I am a SUPER outgoing teddy bear. I am a male chi mix and I am 3 months old. I weigh approx 9 pounds and will get no bigger than 25 pounds based on my parents. My foster mommy says she should have named me Bullet because I am sooooo quick! I love running and if there was a running compitition, I would be in first place everytime. I also love to give kisses! Especially to my favorite people. If you love me then I will love you even more. I LOVE spending time with my humans as well as my foster siblings. In case you didnt notice by my name, I absolutely love eating. If my foster mommy allowed me to eat all day I would! When I am not thinking about food, I love playing with the ball. Big, little, hard or soft, it makes me no difference as long as I can run after it and bring it back you. Then do it all over again! My foster mommy says that I am super smart because I potty pad trained myself at 1.5 months old. I am also kennel trained and learning how to walk on a leash. She also says that I would do AMAZING in a home with someone to play with, either 2 legs or 4 legs. If its both thats even better for me! If you think I would be a great addition to your family please send in an application! I will be right here waiting for you! !
Adoption fee is $450, plus $200 transportation fee from Houston, Texas to Connecticut.
Plus $100 neuter deposit which is refundable upon proof of neuter surgery prior to six months.
Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $200 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation.
Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime and you may speak with the dogâs foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
