Here's what the humans have to say about me:
- Helloooo! My name is Caramel and if you need a little wild child in your life then i'm your girl! I am a female Chihuahua/hound mix and I am 3 months old. I weigh approx 8 pounds and will get no bigger than 25 pounds, and that is adding a few - based on my parents. My foster mommy says that I am such a sweet girl and will cuddle with you alllllll day and give you lots of kisses because I have a lot of love to give. I also love to play with my toys, balls and soft toys are my favorite. I love spending time with my foster siblings and can run all day if my foster mommy let me but she says that I have to take a nap so I can have more energy for later but don't worry, I also LOVE taking naps. I am very smart because I learned how to potty pad train myself at almost 1.5 months old so I know what those things are for. I am also kennel trained and learning how to walk on a leash. I love everyone and everything as long as they don't mind my kisses. My foster mommy says that she would love for me to have a furever family that will love me and protect me with their whole heart. If that's you, please send in an application so I can add some sweetness to your life.
Please fill out an application at rangersreach.org. Thank you!
Adoption fee is $550, plus $250 transportation fee from Houston, Texas to Seattle, Washington.
Plus a $100 spay deposit, which is refundable upon proof of spay surgery at a designated date.
Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $250 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation.
Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
