My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah (Lilly) is a sweet puppy. She is great with other dogs and good with the cats. She’s still a playful puppy and loves to play. Delilah is approx. 10 months old and 16 lbs. Delilah is almost completely deaf, and needs a home who will understand and accept this.

She came from Chicago after being returned to the pound for bite history. Due to this she will require a very special owner who is patient with her. Her first day in foster care with me I moved her food bowl and she bit me quite hard, however once you understand her this doesn’t need to happen...she is almost completely deaf and reacts out of fear.

No one knew she was deaf until just before transport. Her amazing U.S. foster drove her to Toronto on her own, because she loved her so much and knew she deserved an amazing home. It’s been over a month now and no signs of any aggression. She loves everyone she meets and is sweet and playful.

She is currently fostered in Port Perry, Ontario and has an adoption fee of $475.
