Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barney is a sweet 5 year old beagle who has been through a lot in his short life. He came to us heartworm postive but has had his treatments and is now heartworm free. He does have some permanent damage to his lungs from the heartworms The vet believes it can be managed with medicine whenever there is a flare up. Barney should be in a one level home because too many stairs make his lungs work extra hard. He loves his toys and food! He does not like to share them but does get along great with other dogs and cats. He loves to chew bones and when he gets excited he has a wiggly butt! Barney is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines. He is also available for foster to adopt to make sure he is the right fit. He is a friendly sweet boy who needs to find a place to call home and get lots of love!
