Omar rode a charity's freedom train from Alabama to Michigan when he was young, and we adopted him based on being so cute and affectionate, leaning on the side of his cage so he could be petted. He likes to run with me in the mornings. In the evenings, he cuddles on my lap in the easy chair. Since we have a new grandchild who may visit, we would like to rehome him. Omar would be a protective dog for his home/environment. He's a smart boy who likes to play, or can be a lazy bones/ cuddler. He is very affectionate. Given his hound mix, he would probably be an excellent hunting dog. Can be reactive to other dogs and new visitors. Up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
