Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lady is a 2 year old Aussiedoodle who has found herself needing a new home due to an illness in the family which made it impossible for her to be cared for. She weighs approximately 60 lbs.
Here is what Lady's foster family had to say about her:
Lady is a very special dog. I have got to watch her grow up as she has been coming to my work since she was just a baby. She is playful and affectionate. I would say her activity level is moderate. She has her crazy times but settles down nicely. She is non-shedding but will require regular grooming which is a factor to consider.
Lady is good with everyone once she knows them. At the moment she is nervous when first meeting strangers and will bark at them. She is a big girl and some people will find this intimidating. Although she did go to obedience school, I think the health of her owner meant there was no real follow through and so she is going to need someone who has dog experience and the willingness to work on her further socialization and training.
She is great with my dogs, best friend with my Bluebelle. She does react to dogs she sees in the car and on walks. I do not know how she would be around a cat so for now probably best with no cats in the home.
She has my other dogs with her so she is not too bothered when I leave the home. She will get into things and is a counter surfer so keeping her crated when you go out would be best for now. She knows sit, and her recall is pretty good. She is fully house trained - She has not had any accidents since I've had her. She is crated at my work often and she is quiet. She comes to work with me everyday. She pulls and is strong when she is really excited first thing. When she is tired she walks well. She is great in the car until she sees another dog. Then she barks at them.
Lady is really a sweetheart. She has so much love to give. I love her personality. The only issue is the barking, which can be fixed with a confident and loving owner. She would do well with a family with older kids. I think she would make a great family dog. Other dogs are okay too, but some dogs aren't a fan of her energy. She is very playful!
