Giuliana is an 18-month old female Neapolitan Mastiff. She currently weighs about 120#, but she still has some growing to do.
Giuliana originally came from a commercial breeder in IN. She was held back as a pup, to later be used in their breeding program, but then they changed their minds and decided not to use her.
Guiliana has only lived in a kennel environment before now, so she will need to be potty trained, learn some basic manners, and adjust to living indoors as a family member.
It will take a little while for us to get to know her, but so far, she is very sweet and wiggly, just very shy around new people. She takes treats nicely, and seems to be food motivated, so that helps with the road we have ahead of us.
Giuliana is being fostered in Southern IL, and she will be fully vetted and microchipped before going to her forever home. She won’t be ready to do that for at least another month or so, but we do have 2 other females (a tawny and a mahogany, both with similar background) that are potentially coming to us this weekend, so we’ll go ahead and start accepting applications for them now.
