Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley is a 6 year old Golden Retriever/Lab mix with a touch of Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Marley's owner was suddenly killed in a car accident and Marley ended up in a shelter. Marley has so many good qualities - she is extremely loyal and a very happy and well mannered dog. She knows all of her basic commands and is house trained. Marley is fine being left alone in the house and enjoys being sacked out on the couch. She is great on leash and off leash and is very people oriented. In fact, she loves her people so much she is probably best suited as the only dog. While she gets along with dogs outside of the house, within the house she prefers to be the center of attention and really doesn't want to compete for that attention. With that being said, Marley will likely do best in a one owner household. Once she has her person she only has eyes for them and will likely not have any interest in a family or playing with kids. She also seems to be a bit sensitive to loud noises so a quieter household would suit her best. If you are interested in adopting Marley please contact Cindy at ccasten@cox.net.
