Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET Chevy.
This handsome hunk is approximately 3 years old and comes to us from Surry County Animal Shelter where his owner surrendered him because they were moving. Chevy is a little shy upon meeting people and takes just a bit to warm up. He is cautious of new situations but once he is comfortable, his amazing personality comes out.
Chevy LOVES other dogs and plays very respectfully. He is more on the submissive side and respects the personal space of others. He is super loving and like to lean on his people for rubs and scratches. Once comfortable, Chevy is happy, bouncy and ready for an adventure.
Chevy is looking for a family that possibly has other dogs to help build his confidence. He needs a family with patience to let him warm up and feel safe.
Chevy is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives and will be neutered prior to adoption. Adoption fee $400.
If you are interested in adopting or long-term fostering Chevy, please fill out our online application at www.jettslegacy.com
NOTE: You must have an approved application on file prior to setting up a meet and greet.
