Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"I'll be home for Christmas....if only in my dreams!!!" Well, we an all dream big and Mr. Grin's has his list written and submitted to Santa. This funny little fella is actually doing mighty fine compared to the way he was just a number of weeks ago. We had to give him that name because he has a perpetual little smile, isn't he adorable!! He was brought to a large shelter in horrible shape. Grins was painfully matted, skinny, scared and worst of all had a painful, crusty and bulging eye. I know, yuck. Worse yet it for him to have lived with that trauma. The eye had to be removed and Grins is doing fantastic. He did not come to rescue due to his medical issues, he seems have bounced right back. He had some fear issues at the shelter and was just not so sure about people handling, touching and getting him out of his kennel. Once out he was a lovely little fella, and has also settled in nicely to his foster home. He is tolerant of the other dogs but we would not say that he has to have a dog buddy, we think he may be fine with just his special people in his life. He may be fine around OLDER kids, not small kids please. Mr. Grin's is a true gentleman, never had an accident in our home, but we do take him our often. The shelter guessed him to be around 7 years old, even tho his teeth look awesome. I would guess him to be quite a bit younger, but who knows, I still think I am 23. He is fully vetted, chipped and ready for his new home. We love this little guy!! His adoption fee is $275. Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com. He is about 9 pounds.
