Rusty is a stunning Golden Retriever and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix who is around 2 1/2 years old and weighs 55 lbs.

This handsome boy was abandoned by his family. He wandered the cruel streets of Houston fending for himself. Someone cruel may have chopped off part of his tail or it was lost during a tragic accident. Either way, the injury has not affected this sweet boy. He is still the biggest love bug.

Rusty is a little be more on the high energy side who would benefit from long daily walks to keep him sufficiently exercised. Rusty would be an awesome running and hiking companion. Like boating or fishing. Rusty would love to come along with you no matter what your outdoor activity may be. He enjoys the water.
If you enjoy doing things outdoors, Rusty is your boy!

Rusty does well with most dogs but does need a slow and steady introduction.

Rusty can be a naughty boy if left unsupervised and bored in a fenced yard. He is quite the jumper and can scale a 6-foot fence to see if the grass is greener on the other side.

Rusty walks well on a leash and enjoys his walks. He loves being part of family outings and rides well in the car.
Rusty is really a good boy and nothing he wants more than to be part of a loving and interactive family. He would reward you with kisses and snuggles.
