To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.
There is an adoption fee of $350 for this dog.
We have known this girl since she was a puppy and has been a service dog for her past family. Angel prefers a yard and they live in an apartment so it was time to retire her as a service dog. She barks too much to be left alone in an apartment to annoy neighbors which is why we always require a fenced yard and a house situation for this loud, watch dog breed so no townhomes, apartments or condos, etc. This breed needs to run off leash when bred to run, hunt and dig.
Special needs and quirks: Angel needs to stay on her special prescription dog food so she does not get bladder stones so not treats EVER besides her prescribed dog food. This sweet girl digs a lot so no doggy doors please and supervised in the yard so she does not dig wiener trenches. We always check when this funny, charming girl comes inside so nothing stuck in her mouth or paws.
Angel is a mini about 11 pounds, turned nine this week and a black and chocolate wire who is very sweet and affectionate. She is not an abuse case and has been very well loved in her past life. This darling girl has often volunteered with us at our dog adoption events. I love her like family so I will make sure she stays until she finds the right home for her and her needs.
Angel would prefer a home with a dog friend her size because larger dogs and kids scare her so an adult home is preferred.
I hope folks read this bio before applying to adopt her because I know her darling face will inspire folks who will want to adopt her. If you do not mind holes in your yard than this digger baby might be your girl or she stays until we can find that for her and someone who has the time for kisses and snuggles.
