My story

Meet Matilda Rose, aka Tilly, aka Snortle-Bear.

Tilly hails from Philadelphia, was rescued from ACCT in mid-November 2019, and has been enjoying life with her foster family ever since. Tilly is a people pleaser and very dog-friendly (she currently shares a house with a cranky old-man-pup), but would like nothing better than to have her own people, and maybe even her own playful pup to romp around with.

Tilly is recovering from some skin issues, so her fur is slowly growing in, but in the meantime, she’ll rock a sweater, or a pair of pajamas like no other dog.

Having a bad day? Tilly will give you kisses until you’re feeling better. Need a nap? Tilly will snuggle with you until you wake up. Like a slow stroll on your walks? Tilly will not disappoint.

Tilly is house-trained, crate-trained, know words like “bed,” “crate,” and “sit.” She’s learning “leave it” when she tries to sneak in street snacks and comes (mostly) when she’s called.

We think that Tilly would do well in any environment (although she hasn't been around any cats yet). Right now, she is enjoying life in a fairly quiet home and that seems to suit her just fine.
