My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kissy is a 3 year old harlequin female with cropped and standing ears. She came in to rescue with a group of five Danes that came to rescue from a shelter. Kissy came in very bonded with her sister Pebbles. Because of this, she must be placed in a home with another dog. Kissy is very loving and very inquisitive. When she first arrived in her foster home she checked everything out... And we mean everything! Kissy is potty trained and knows her basic commands. She is fine with other dogs and cats, but gets nervous around children. Kissy came to MAGDRL in June 2009. (4)

Update 8/31/09 - Kissy prefers the company of the 7 year old pitbull in her foster family. She likes to play, but benefits greatly from the presence of a calm, laid back dog and is often found laying with him just watching all the doggie fun. On occasion Kissy gets a little nervous of a new visitor (not often, but once in awhile) and will do some barking/growling and want to keep her distance. As long as the visitor is instructed to ignore her and let her approach them in her own time, she comes around and is soon asking for pets like the other dogs
