My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, I am here at CBR-East (in Maine, actually!) and I am having a blast in my retirement so far! I lived the first 5 years of my life in a laboratory helping with nontoxic drug studies, but that's in my past and I am looking toward my future! WE WOULD LOVE FOR HOUDINI TO BE ADOPTED WITH HIS FOSTER BROTER, PIP (SEE BELOW)! THEY COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER SO NICELY AND SEEM TO NEED EACH OTHER. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE ADOPTERS LOOKING TO ADOPT A PAIR.





I am still coming out of my shell, so more will be posted as more is learned about me! I do love to snuggle, play, and take naps. :) I can initially be a little cautious, but once I get to know you, I'll be happy to snuggle. :) I am learning to be cratetrained and housetrained, and so far, I am doing OK, although I do not really love my crate. I will need an adopter to continue to help me with that. I do OK with other submissive dogs, but might be OK as the only dog in a home where I can get a lot of attention. More will be posted sooN!
