My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelton is a lovable guy who will make an excellent companion. Shelton loves to learn about leashes and the joys of walking. His doggie companions in the foster home consider him the light of the party.

Toys are a joyful part of his day and he is especially grateful for every chance to play!

Shelton is working on basic manners and obedience training and would love to show off his brilliance with his new and forever family!

Our dogs are sterilized, vaccinated which means any puppy 6 month's or younger has received three multiple vaccines or in other words, 5 in 1. Treatment for fleas, ticks, worms, and parasites (we treat with Fenbendazol). They are microchipped before adoption.

The dog's breed is usually a guess based on using online tools such as Dogzam. In addition, our director spends time viewing dog pictures and comparing them to our dogs. Some of the following traits help us determine the breed mix, but still we don't know the exact breed: ear shape, webbed or not webbed toes, hair versus fur, angle of snout, bone structure, and more. However, we also know through year's of experience and working with experts that it can be very difficult to determine breed identity without a DNA test.

Our dogs are not in shelters. Meet and greets are scheduled after the online application is received, reviewed, and forwarded to the adoption coordinator. The whole process can take one to two weeks, depending on when the application is submitted; each of us works full time and volunteers with Karmic Rescue Without Boundaries.
