Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What can we say about sweet Gracieann (ASF Diamond), our BC/AussieX foster girl (date of birth 06/06/13) from West Virginia? She came to us with her pack sister, so overweight and with such a matted coat that it didn't allow her back legs to develop their full potential. Her care and her training were non-existent.
Fast forward, she is a thinner (about 57 lbs.), healthier girl with a coat that is growing in - slowly but surely. She is happy to sleep, eat, go for walks, and follow you around the house.
She runs with a small pack of dogs in the morning, but that is all the exercise she wants. She does whatever our Aussie, Beau, does, so she looks like she is following commands. However, on her own she only knows come and sit. Outside, she just lays down and waits. To date, however, she still does not take our indoor stairs, so her furever home needs to be a ranch style. She accepts that we go upstairs, and just lays down in the center hall. She has had some rehab work to maximize hip movement and takes Dasuquin and Movoflex for joint support.
Gracie is on monthly flea/tick/mosquito meds and is UTD on all vaccines. She crates at night with no issues. She has two toys -- clearly her first -- and plays with them for about five minutes in the morning and sleeps with them at night. So sweet and low-key, capable of bonding with another easy dog to be her friend and mentor, would probably leave cats alone. Everyone calls her a "Sweetheart." Could she be yours? Currently fostered in Southeastern PA.
