Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Anna banana! Miss Anna was found as an emaciated stray with a ruptured eye. Since being with us the eye was removed and she is certainly much more comfortable and happier. She was also spayed and had a dental and gained 3lbs (she now weighs 12lbs) so she is all set to find her forever home!
We kind of doubt that Anna is a senior but think she is somewhere in the 5-7-year-old age range. She is a bouncy, feisty, happy little girl. She loves to play with her squeaky toys and can be found dragging them around the house. She also loves to go for walks and explore. But what she loves most is to sit on your lap and have you rub her belly. If you stop for a minute up pops her little head and that 1 eye asks…why did you stop, please continue. Anna came to us with skin issues but it is beginning to clear up with medicated baths.
She is good with other dogs but is a resource guarder and should be fed in a room by herself. She is not the best with cats.
She loves her people and would love a home with a retired person or someone who works from home. She is mostly housetrained but will use pee pads if you are going to be gone for more than a few hours.
If you think Anna is your girl please email us at info@seniordoghaven.org or complete an application at seniordoghave.org.
