Fred (M), Barney (M), Betty (F), Pebbles (F), Bam Bam (M), Roxy (F): EST DOB: 9/8/2019, Lab mix, average 20 pounds currently

Meet the Flintstones! These super sweet siblings are now ready to find their perfect forever homes. The “Flintstones” rescue made nightly news after bringing attention to an Alabama city and county’s lack of enforcement of its own animal welfare laws. The puppies lived under a trailer porch that was on the city/county line. Their former owner had no fence or shelter other than the porch. The puppies were free roaming and were found playing most days on a 5 lane highway. The trailer was in the county, but the highway was in the city. Neither City or County officials were willing to step in to help stating it was the others issues. In the meantime, the puppies lives were in danger. Luckily a local rescue stepped in to help and convinced the owner to surrender the puppies to rescue.

Bam Bam - the most reserved, most mature and even tempered of the litter.

Pebbles - sweet, most passive of litter, sleeps on her back a lot, LOVES belly rubs.

Barney - usually first to initiate play, but would just as soon curl up and sleep.

Betty - affectionate, eager to please, playful.

Fred - largest of his litter, but very gentle.

Roxy - sweet, most responsive to commands.
