My story

Mishu is a 2-year-old, 10 pound Yorkie Boy. He is being fostered in Clearwater, FL.

UPDATED BIO 12/09/2019: Mishu has been in his foster home just a few days, but has adapted really well. His former owners felt that he needed a much quieter home so that he could continue to learn proper puppy manners.

Here’s what Mishu had to say recently:

Hello! I am Mishu (it means Little Bear). I am a very high-energy active two-year old boy who is very happy and puppy-like. I am partially house-trained and getting better every day. My foster parents have introduced me to the outdoors and I love it, so I really need a home with a large fenced-in backyard so I can run to my heart’s content. My foster dad said that I can jump really high and I have fun doing it. But he said I wasn’t allowed to jump up on the kitchen table or the bathroom vanity – bummer. I would not do well in a condo or apartment – I need the freedom of larger spaces. I pretty much love everyone I meet and I love to cuddle.

I am a little picky about who I choose as my doggie friends – I do get along with some dogs and not with others. I may like to have a doggie companion in my forever home who is close to my size and age ‘cause I love playing with the young resident yorkie in my foster home. I ride well in the car and walk well on a leash and am very healthy and current on my vaccinations. My Christmas wish is a forever family who will love me always.
