My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rizzo was surrendered to Cedar Farm by an Army K9 officer who was wounded in the line of duty. His injury brought him home. He surrendered Rizzo to us because of a change in his living situation. This dog is the daughter of Misty, who he surrendered as well. She is about 9 months old and is a wonderful little dog. She was very loved and well cared for. She is a “low rider” and she is feisty! She jumps around and barks and romps and then will just come up to you and jump in your lap and squirm around and lick your face. She’s adorable. We believe that she is a lab/basset mix. Misty weighs about 16 pounds. We don’t think she will get much bigger. She is a good size for any type of living arrangement. She gets along well with our barn cats here. She is heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, up to date on all shots, neutered, microchipped, crate and leash trained.

If you would like to meet Rizzo, it is a simple process. Go to our website, cedarfarmrescue.com, click on the Adoption Application tab, fill out and submit the application. After you have done that, please CALL us at 336-251-8877 to confirm our receipt of your application. At that time, we will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have and set a date and time for you to come and visit with Rizzo.
