Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Turner is a very senior diaper dog who would love to spend his senior weeks/months/years with you. To understate it, Turner is a wreck. He was found stray severely underweight. He had a severely infected tooth and extreme dental issues (now fixed), a removable growth on his leg, and a second growth on his back leg which is likely unremovable cancer (sarcoma). We have no idea how much time he has left. It could be months or years. Best guess on age is 12.
He is the HAPPIEST LITTLE GUY! He brings us so much joy here trotting around being adorable. He absolutely has to wear a diaper in the house - he does pee outside also but he dribbles. He's eats mostly wet food because of his teeth and loves basic milkbones and pupperoni more than anything in the world.
When we initially took him in stray, we knew we were likely looking at a super senior who needed a gentle place to land. He loves running outside in our fenced yard - loves the snow. He's good with our other dogs here as long as they don't threaten his food - we think because he was starving when we found him he is a little food possessive.
This isn't a dog an adopter would be expected to put thousands of dollars of medical bills into. If we can find a kind soul with room to include him in their home and life until it's his time to pass, Turner would be just thrilled.

Mosh Pit Rescue does not have a set adoption fee. We ask for a donation to the rescue of $150 but are willing to work with adopters. Some adopters donate more, other adopters donate less. We sometimes have sponsored dogs or dogs in need of more urgent placement where we waive fees completely. Turner being a super senior would have no adoption fee.
